The business was launched as a sole proprietorship in 2001. Shortly after the name Weaver Carpentry
was adopted as services expanded along traditional carpentry lines. We filed as a limited liability
company in 2005. Through customer feedback over time, I learned the term carpentry was not specific
to many customers seeking a contractor to fit their needs. Though experienced in all types of residential
construction, I focus on small to mid-range home improvement projects and repairs. Therefore, in 2015
Remodeling Done Right became the name that reflected that focus.
Doug Weaver has over 20 years of experience in home construction and remodeling. He has also served
his community in Southwest Wisconsin as a law enforcement officer, volunteer EMS driver, and church
involvement. He has an Associate of Divinity Degree from Christian Leaders Institute and has resided in
Darlington, WI for the past 17 years with his family.
